The prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم was walking with two angels. There was a man lying down on the ground, and there was an angel who had a rock in his hand. The angel would smash the head of the man who was lying down on the ground. The head would scatter into pieces and the rock would roll away. Then the head of that man would come back together again, then it would get smashed again, this being repeated continuously.
Then the Prophet asked the two angels why is that happening? They said, 'This is the man who slept over the prayers' i.e he sleeps and doesn't offer the prayers on time.
See the punishment of Allah, it's severe - When Allah seizes He seizes intensely, there will be no escape, it is severe and it is painful!
Similarly, He is vast in his mercy and generosity. For those who abide by His commands a place which no eye has ever seen, no mind can ever imagine awaits them.
