The prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said, whosoever leaves his house and says:
بِسْمِ اللهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ عَلَى اللهِ وَلَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِالله
In the name of Allah, I place my complete trust in Allah, the best of protectors and guardian. There is neither might nor power except with Allah, the angels will say to him, "you have been guided, you have been sufficed completely from all your problems and you have been protected from all things!"
In other words, after the person leaves his house, Allah will send him back safely to his house.
So do not forget it - say it periodically!
