Ibn Abbas رضي الله عنه said, there are two securities for this ummah from destruction and punishment. One has passed with the death of the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم and one security shall continue all the way until the Judgment day.
There are two verses:
1. Allah will never punish them or demolish them or annihilate them whilst you're among them - Allah is talking to the Prophet here.
This is respect to the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم, as Allah loves the Prophet so He won't punish them.
2. Allah will not punish them nor destroy them nor annihilate them whilst they are making continuous istighfaar, asking for forgiveness and repenting.
The solution to all your problems is repentance, glorifying Allah the AlMighty at all times!
